Stregnth & Conditioning will include; Bodybuilding is an important part of any fitness program. It can help you build a sculpted physique, increase your testosterone levels, and even look like Arnold Schwarzenegger. One traditional form of strength training is bodybuilding, which uses high-volume sets, reps, and weights to focus on muscle size and/or shape. If you’re looking to get stronger and increase your overall fitness level, consider incorporating bodybuilding moves into your routine.
Strength & Conditioning will include; Powerlifting is the process of using specific exercises to increase strength and improve overall physical conditioning. Powerlifting is an effective form of strength training and includes three key lifts: the bench press, squat, and deadlift. By performing these exercises with low reps and heavy weights, people can create a powerful body with immense strength but not necessarily large muscle size.
Strength & Conditioning will include; Weightlifting, also commonly known as Olympic Lifting, is a strength sport that involves explosive movements such as the Clean and Jerk and The Snatch. It’s an incredibly technical sport that requires significant coordination and agility. Olympic lifting primarily utilizes all the muscles in the body to lift immense amounts of weights off the ground over your head. Not only is it highly efficient when it comes to training, but it’s also incredibly gratifying and fun to perform due to its fast pace and high-velocity movements!
Strength & Conditioning will include; CrossFit is an intense strength and conditioning program that combines different methods of high-weight, high-volume exercises. It emphasizes explosive movements like Olympic lifts to improve overall physical fitness, body composition and strength endurance. CrossFit can push your muscles and heart rate to levels not usually seen in other fitness programs, leading to improved fitness results in a shorter amount of time.
Strength & Conditioning will include; Plyometrics is a form of power training that focuses on maximizing the amount of force generated in a short period of time. Common lower-body plyometric moves include skipping, jumping with both feet, hopping on one foot, and bounding (leaping from one foot to the other). Upper-body exercises may involve the use of medicine balls or sandbags. Plyometric training is beneficial for athletes and those looking to improve sport-specific skills such as enhanced jumping ability or increased throwing distances. Additionally, by increasing muscles force production capacity and strength levels, plyometrics may reduce susceptibility to injuries.
Strength & Conditioning will include; Calisthenics is a type of bodyweight training that uses one’s own body resistance as source of strength. It can include exercises such as pushups, pull-ups and planks. Other forms of calisthenics take elements from martial arts, gymnastics and wrestling to increase difficulty. The main advantage of bodyweight training is its convenience and control of body movements; it requires minimal (or no!) equipment, and can be done from virtually any location. It also enhances the benefits obtained from other forms of strength training.
“Conditioning is my best weapon.”
Strength and conditioning involves developing a plan to help you reach your goals. Through proper exercise design and implementation, specific physical and psychological techniques are used to improve an individual’s physical capabilities and athletic performance. Strength and conditioning sessions include exercises such as weight training, plyometrics, Olympic lifts and more depending on the individual’s needs. It is important to work closely with coaches or trainers in order to create a tailored program that fits your needs.
